Im always afraid of being bitten.我不喜歡狗。我經常害怕被狗咬。(4)在給某人不愉快的信息時,通常用Im afraid,后接從句Im afraid I have some rather bad news for you.恐怕我給你帶來了壞消息。4. 情態(tài)動詞 should 的用法 should 是情態(tài)動詞,它的基本用法是必
10、須和其他動詞一起構成謂語。情態(tài)動詞沒有人稱和數(shù)的變化,意為“應該”。should(應當,應該)用于所有人稱,表示勸告或建議。 eg. 16、lthough1.until常見用法有以下兩種情況:如果主句的謂語動詞是持續(xù)性動詞(如live, stay, work, read, study, write, watch, talk, run, walk, sing等)時,則一般用其肯定形式與until連用,表示這個動作或狀態(tài)一直持續(xù)到until后所接的時間到來為止。如果主句的謂語動詞是終止性動詞(如go, come, leave, begin, start, open, close, find, see等)時,則一般用其否定形式與until連用,表示這個動作或狀態(tài)一直到until后所接的時間到來時才發(fā)生。I watched TV unti
17、l she came back.我看電視一直看到她回來。You shouldnt eat anything until you see the doctor.看過醫(yī)生后,你才能吃東西。2.so that“以便/為了”引導目的狀語從句。Please open the window so that we can breathe fresh air.請把窗戶打開以便我們能呼吸新鮮的空氣。3.although=though意為“雖然;即使;縱然”,引導讓步狀語從句。【注意】although和but不可用于同一個句中。Although he is very old, he is quite strong
