Before this

2、 class, the teacher have taught the students vocabulary and expressions. The reading passage titled The Steamboat briefly describes a story taken from Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Such a topic is exciting and interesting for students to read, thus it is very easy to arouse their interest in learn

3、ing this lesson. Teacher should encourage students to skim for the general idea, and scan for further understanding. After reading, students are required to do the exercises in the each step to see how much they have understood the reading passage. The teacher can let them work in pairs or in groups

4、 to find the answers cooperatively, and then check their answers with the whole class. The teacher should help the students to review some grammar knowledge. To consolidate the knowledge, students should be required to check them by finishing several tasks. Moreover, homework is very important for a

5、n effective class. So the students are assigned to finish several exercises, based on what they have learned in this lesson. Teaching Aims: 1. T plays a video about Adventures of Huckleberry Finn to help them to know more details about the novel. 擴(kuò)大知識面，了解馬克吐溫及哈克貝利費恩歷險記，并引出本文，激發(fā)閱讀本文的興趣。 Reading Step 3 Skim the text and finish task 1 Ss watch a video of the text and then read the

10、text quickly and finish task 1 on their learning guidance. Then work in groups to find the answers. 觀看課文視頻并快速閱讀課文，完成排序問題，檢測學(xué)生是否掌握文章的大體內(nèi)容。 Step 4 Divide the text Ss read the text again and divide the text into 3 main sections. T calls back the answers after their reading. 再次細(xì)讀課文，深入了解課文內(nèi)容，通過分段來檢測學(xué)生是否正

11、確地理解到了課文的細(xì)節(jié)信息。 Step 5 Scan the text and finish task 2 Ss read the text for a third time and answer the questions in task 2. Ss can dicuss in their groups to find the correct answers. T calls back the answers. 第三次閱讀課文，通過回答六個問題來訓(xùn)練學(xué)生細(xì)讀課文的能力。 Grammar Step 6 Review adjective followed by ed and ing T play

Ss finish task 3 after watching the micro class and exchange their answers with their group members. 17、independent learning ability as well as cooperative learning ability and realize the happiness of teamwork. However, there also remains something to improve.
