1、Book7Unit5Attributive Clause(定語從句)教案一 教材分析定語從句是高考要點,雖然近些年的高考全國卷不再有單選題,但是定語從句在完形填空、閱讀理解、語法填空以及短文改錯中仍然是重要考點。并且在作文中使用定語從句在考試作文中為避免使用過多的單句,讓同學們可以嘗試使用定語從句等稍復雜的復合句,以增加作文的亮點和深度,從而提升作文的檔次,獲得更高的分數(shù)!二 學情分析五班的同學們對定語從句還是比較感興趣的,一部分同學掌握的還不錯,但是并不是所有同學掌握程度都一樣,所以對定語從句及時的復習和鞏固是有必要的。尤其是在期中考試之前,給學生們定定心,打打氣,有助于提高他們學英語的自信
2、心。三學習目標。 1進一步理解定語從句的概念。2. 學會判斷定語從句,分析定語從句的構成;3. 掌握有關定語從句的解題技巧,培養(yǎng)綜合運用語言的能力,特別是能在作文中熟練使用定語從句。四. 教學重點和難點重點是給同學們呈現(xiàn)清楚定語從句的分類和幾種特殊情況;難點是給他們設置的兩個練習:把單句組合成復合句;當場用定語從句作文。五教學過程Step1. Warming upShow a picture of Class5 and a sentence “We love this family, where we can learn English well.”設計思路:首先讓同學們感到集體的溫暖,齊讀這
3、個定語從句,讓他們自己先感受認識定語從句,為接下來的課堂內容做鋪墊。Step2定語從句的概念和構成。(一)概念。在復合句中,用來修飾_和_的從句叫做定語從句。被修飾詞叫_, 用來引導定語從句的關聯(lián)詞叫_。定語從句分為_和_。(二)構成。分析下列句型:例句:In our Class 5, there is a boy called Sam (who) is a super English learner.1. 5、:從概念和構成上理解定語從句,整體感知。Step3定語從句的分類及例題。1.關系代詞關系代詞先行詞(指人或物)在從句中充當什么成分例句分析who指人作主語The boy who is standing there is my cousin.whomThe man (whom) you met yesterday is Mr. Smith.The boy (whom) you are looking for is hidden behind the tree.whose =( )或 ( ) Do you know the boy whose father is an engineer?He li

This is the university _we visited last week.2. This is the university _we stayed last Wednesday.3. as引導定語從句時
9、的用法as引導限制性定語從句通常用于the same as, such as結構中。e.g. I want the same shirt _my friends. 我要一件跟我朋友一樣的襯衫。Such machines _are used in our workshop are made in China. 我們車間使用的這種機器是中國制造的。as引導非限制性定語從句既可放在主句之前,也可放在主句之后,用來修飾整個句子。通常用下列句型:as is known to all, as is said, as is reported, as is announced, as we all know,
10、 as I expect 等。e.g. _ I expected, he got the first place again in this mid-term examination. 正如我所預料的那樣,他在這次期中考試中又獲得了第一名。4. “介詞+關系代詞”引導的定語從句錯題回顧 填空:根據句子意思,在第一個空白處填入介詞,在第二個填入關系代詞whom或which.1. The two things _ _ Marx was not sure were the grammar and some of the idioms of English.注意:在固定搭配的動詞短語中,如look for, listen to, depend on, pay attention to, take care of等等,由于動詞和介詞不可分割,因此不能把介詞位于關系代詞之前。判斷正誤:TFThis is the pen for which Im lookin

( )(思考:關系代詞充當什么成分時可以省略?)5. 幾種特殊情況(1)只用that的幾種情況:(2)用which而不用that: 1.介詞之后;2.非限制性定語從句。(3)精析精練P62。設計思路:將定語從句的類型明確呈現(xiàn),分類來學習和練習,提高區(qū)分度,讓同學們更容易接受。Step4把兩個單句改為含有定語從句的復合句。1. The woman is our geography teacher. You saw her in the park.2. The letter is from Lucy. I re
13、ceived it yesterday.3. The train was late. It was going to Gushan.4. Linda used to live in a big house. In front of it grew many banana trees.設計思路:這個練習可以比較好的檢測同學們對定語從句的掌握;相比選擇和填空,這種題型還是比較有難度的,因此更能提升同學們使用定語從句的能力,也為后面的寫作做好鋪墊。Step5口述小作文:用3-5句話介紹你的同位,其中必須含有定語從句。_設計思路:提升同學們在作文中運用定語從句的能力。在考試作文中為避免使用過多的單句,可以嘗試使用定語從句等稍復雜的復合句,來增加作文的亮點,從而提升作文的檔次,獲得更高的分數(shù)!Step6.
